Zenmuse X9 supports internal recording of Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes 4444 XQ, ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422 LT, and H.264 video,[1]and up to 8K/60fps and 4K/120fps full-frame video recording. It also supports the ACES workflow.
X9-8K defaults to EI 320/1600. With Dynamic Range Expansion on, X9-8K can support EI 800/4000, while X9-6K supports EI 800/5000, allowing it to capture footage with exquisite detail and minimal noise.
With the LiDAR focusing system and focus motor, autofocus is available even on manual lenses.[4]In Automated Manual Focus mode,[5]the focus wheel will rotate in sync as the focus point changes, but cinematographers can take manual control at any point.
The Z-Axis effectively eliminates vertical camera shake and works with visual sensors and ActiveTrack Pro to let you create smooth, stable footage effortlessly.
